Debed Life arrived as something unusual in the rural landscape of Armenia. Not a traditional guesthouse, but a shared home—designed for living together with its founder.
Created by Tatevik after years of globetrotting and returning to Armenia, Debed Life introduced a new idea of rural living: thoughtful design, shared spaces, personal presence, and meaningful human connection.

Debed Life quietly shifted perceptions. What was once seen as remote and underdeveloped began to feel full of potential.

Perle became a destination in itself, placing the village on Armenia’s gastronomic and cultural map.
Through curated dining, wine experiences, exhibitions, and gatherings, Perle made Debed more visible, more vibrant, and more attractive for travelers seeking depth rather than mass tourism.

THE MEANING OF “PERLE”
The Pearl Within
“Perle” means pearl in German and French.
During her years in Germany, Tatevik was struck by a simple expression she often heard:
“This is my pearl”
—a way of honoring a woman as something deeply precious.
Years later, while building the restaurant, the meaning revealed itself again. The most valuable asset of Perle would not be the space, the menu, or the design—but the women who would shape it every day.
